  Yes folks, next Thursday Maureen retires from UKC. With 'er indoors around all the time I suppose that I will have to get on and finish all those odd jobs that are currently in limbo.
  
  Prior to UKC she was at South Kent College and P&O YTS.
  
  Here's a nice little souvenir from when she was steering the good ship "Enterprise Kent". It's an ever so slightly political cartoon from one of her collaborators, Daniel Postgate.

  Here is a picture of Maureen taken a couple of years ago at the Terry Sutton book signing in the Churchill Hotel. Maureen got the very first book signed so I was in with the camera....

  Best wishes to Maureen and I hope you have a long and happy retirement together - let me know if she doesn't get info about the retired staff association, we've got some good events planned for next year if she can bear to be reminded of work.
  
  The cartoon brought back some memories, Enterprise Kent was founded by a lovable nutter, officially the loudest voice in Britain according to Noel Edmonds.
