Hey Phil - very nice too... Love the monochrome photography, it gives it a very authentic 'feel'.
Do you have any colour pics?
What weathering washes and pigments do you use?

Just peeked at your website - love the aviation photos and if I am not mistaken the Seafire is a Mk XVII - I have a 48 scale model of that next to me. The Lysander, Hurricane, Swordfish and Corsair are all on my 'want to build' list in 32 scale but sadly no Lysander kit is available yet.
Some impressive photography there.

Hi Barry, sadly this tank is no longer part of my collection, but I do have some others and will get some on line as soon as I can find the time. I am returning to the hobbie after some years away from it.I would have used Tamiya acrylics for this model and I think the background may well have been an old 'paint by numbers', and a twig from the garden!
Pleased you like the aviation sets on my site, thanks for the comments! The Seafire was at the last Woodchurch display if I remember correctly.
Will try to get some more models up soon.
Phil.

Phil - a tip. If you airbrush try out the Vallejo acrylics. They are in an easy to use eye-dropper bottle and come in two types, one made specially for the airbrush that can be used without thinning and one for the hairy stick but, well thinned, can be airbrushed with a great range of colours. For armour they have their Panzer Aces range specially produced. I find the Tammy acrylics a bit pricier in small 10ml tubs (Vallejo are 17ml), they do not brush well and are less convenient for loading into an airbrush. They do a good range of washes and pigments too though the AK Interactive range may have the edge there. Try this link

Barry, thanks for that, my first task is to go through all my bits and bobs and find out what I can and cannot use after a few years! No doubt I will suffer from sauage roll fingers at first, but hey-ho!
I am also on the lookout for 75-80mm heraldic decals, any ideas?

Phil try
http://www.borderminiatures,com they do a small but very nice range of heraldic transfers
Andrea Miniatures do a decent range of heraldic dry transfers - meant for their 54mm range but some might be useful on 75mm figures

Also try our very own Historex Agents who stock Andrea Miniatures and a whole host of other stuff for the figure modeller

I am in the last stages of a 32 scale A6M5 Zero - perhaps Monday or Tuesday it will be finished. I will post a few pics. Tamiya kit, excellent it is too. Got some paint chipping and other weathering to do next before the final matt coat and final assembly.

That's a nice model Phil and nicely photographed, looks very realistic in that setting. Some nice photos on your web site as well.
I really must finish my model schooner that I started over thirty years ago some time.
