  I had a rather nice pre-birthday treat today, a visit to the viewing gallery of the Shard. It's currently the tallest building in Western Europe, a 310 m (1,016 ft) vertical city of offices, restaurants, apartments and a spectacular viewing gallery.   Thanks guys, it's not till next Saturday, I'm starting early, ha ha It was a beautifully clear sunny day so I managed to get some decent shots.
  
  I'm not a lover of heights either Jaqui and Howard but I brave them (especially if indoors) every now and again if I really want to see something.
  
  Yes Jan, I think London looks very nice from high up or under snow!
