I went up to the cliffs this morning with my eldest and her family to visit the bench we had put there some 8 years ago in memory of my wife, who loved to go up there to watch the goings-on below and enjoy the view. We discovered that someone had planted flowers behind the bench in memory of a member of their family who loved to sit there and watch the ships. My daughter was absolutely thrilled to find that 'Mum's Bench' had given so much pleasure to somebody else. A very poignant moment.
