14:1385612Anyone have positive (or negative) thoughts on this......I have been taking capsules for a couple of years and stooped for a while to see if there was any noticeable change.
Joints much stiffer and when I re-started taking them I found I was taking a couple in the morning as I could not remember if I had taken one or not (supposed to help memory recall!!)...

Oh Boy!, That'll be the day.........

14:1685615We take them for short bursts from time to time and I think they are good for us! I am not sure if they are designed to make a noticeable difference or just offer some protection and prevention..............

14:2585622I've never tried it. B12 is good for the brain/memory.

15:0685632I take the following
Cod Liver oil caps,
B12 complex - as a veggie this helps with any shortfall in B vits,
Glucosamine - for my knackered knees
Zinc and L-argening - its a man thing lol

16:3085649I personally wouldn`t bother with the fish oil guys, just go for the best and for the most potent source of omega 3 which is Krill Oil. Umpteen times better, but unfortunately more expensive etc. Like most things in life, you get what you pay for!

16:3885651 #3 Not surprised you like B12 Jeane, they were popular locomotives in your part of the country. This B12 class is preserved in Norfolk. Well, just a little diversity as it`s Christmas.
Tell them that I came, and no one answered.

17:3285673My friend always notices a difference, much like you Buddy, when she runs out of cod liver oil capsules yet when I took them for well over six months I noticed no difference at all. I wonder if it all depends on your diet which is my only source of vitamins.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

20:1885706Despite what I consider a good diet, we both take Vit B complex (one a day), and fish oil (one a day - you can take two I think) (the fish oil is called Eskimo Oil which is supposed to be better than the mere cod liver oil). Without the Vit B complex I soon feel under par, they are supposed also to help you absorb all the other Vits.

21:5085736i have to endure vitamin b12 jabs every few months, i have no idea what they actually do.
with regard to the original post on the omega 3 bit, would it not be better to just eat more sardine, pilchards and mackerel?
our local anglers catch enough mackerel off the pier.

21:5585738Now that's what I call a B12 Colin!
Howard B12 injections are meant to boost your energy and also it's very good for brain function and staving off anemia.
