Canterbury College are lending the Tattoo 50 certified marshals which will be good training for their role at the Olympic games.

It's not as if it's bad enough walking down the high street without being accosted by chuggers now we have to contend with Olympic volunteers - all smiles and tee shirts with questionable logos.
Mind you I was thinking of taking up the challenge and applying but I guess me telling the public that it's a shame that the French didn't win the bid and it's a colossal waste of time and money might preclude me from even the interview stage.
