Sorry if there's already a thread on this but I can't find it.
I saw on the local news tonight that it will be a ballot for tickets for the celebration event when the torch gets to Dover. Apparently you log onto Ticketmaster from the end of May to register interest and it's then a lucky dip if you get a ticket or not. So does that mean there's chuff all for Dover residents then? Surely we should get some sort of priority.
Or maybe not as the headline act is a not very famous garage act called Rizzle Kicks. Surely there should be someone properly famous at such an event? I saw them on the telly and they're not my cup of tea at all.
Luckily, or not, I live near enough to the seafront to hear it all for free but it once again smacks of disappointment. Or am I just looking on the dark side?
