Olympic torch
- 18 July 2011 11:51115324a load of people dressed in green in market square today looking for nominations for someone to carry the olympic torch, hadn 't seen it advertised anywhere.
one chap was standing still with a football balanced on his head, i have no idea why.
when asked i said that i would have nominated mr matcham but as he has now gone back on his retirement plans he likely to be on a committee that day.
- 18 July 2011 12:23115328This type of thing really frustrates me.I was walking the children to school when I saw them setting up,why are we not told when somthing like this occurs.It was a similar story a couple of weeks ago when the Olympian wind surfer was at the water sports centre.
