  Yes it is certainly looking good. Whats the squigly one in the middle?...its not some kind of helter-skelter is it? That wasnt an Olympic sport when I last checked...lol On the skyline you can see several cranes in action. The pace of development in London rarely slows down, it goes on seperately to the huge development for the Olympics.

  I think the helter skelter is some sort of sculpture, not sure though - at first I thought it was an odd looking crane!

  I believe its a veiwing platform. but I agree with you Paul it is a bit Gormless.

  I've just found out it's a 120 meter tall, looping tower by the artist Anish Kapoor. People will be able to climb it for a spectacular view of London. It was unveiled by Boris last year.

  Let's hope that the stadium does not become a white elephant and a burden on the taxpayer post Olympics, the climbing tower would have been described in the past as a folly!

  I must say that the climbing tower looks a bit wierd, when I saw the drawings and scale model for it in the initial planning stage it was painted bright red
  
  I wonder what the charge will be to climb the 'interesting' edifice to view Olympic events this year, £2.50p? I don't think so. It will be interesting to see what name Londoner's will come up with for the interesting building

  It's still bright red but it was hard to see that as the sun was beating down on it yesterday morning. The cost to ascend the Olympic tower in Munich is 3 Euros but no doubt this will cost more!

  still a battle between tottenham and west ham over taking over the stadium but the olympic committee seem to have it in their heads that it could be a full time athletics stadium.
