A Dutch creationist has written to Boris Johnson to ask if he can moor a replica of the mythological Noah's Ark on the Thames during the Olympic Games. As it is built on a base of 25 barges in a steel frame it is questionable as to whether or not the folly would survive being towed over from Holland but even if it did why would we want it?

I doubt if he would get it very far up the Thames purely because of it's size.

Certainly novel enough to attract newly-weds.
And what was Boris's answer ?

It wouldn't go under London Bridge, but Tower Bridge can be lifted to allow it through into the Pool of London, it can be tied up alongside the Belfast. Simples.
