i seem to remember ladies man john posting on here that planning permission had been granted for housing on the site and that work was imminent, that was a couple of years ago though.

There was planning permission for a residential home granted a few months back - maybe they're starting work there.

thanks for info roger, would not take up much of the plot though.
originally it was all about houses, flats and leisure facilities on the site.

It would make an ideal site for sheltered housing, on the level with a bus stop just outside and across the road.
