You have been with Dover District Council a long, long time...and you have to see and accept that Dover is being left behind.....shockingly so now....
Asda are very good at their sheds, the same as Tescos and their quasi "churches"..............
You know you could side- line the Port............and why not? it is really a simmering boil............Retail parks etc...are going be a lost cause......the internet shopping....go for entertainment/parks/open spaces/history and quaintness...........the later, very important...a whole Roman Town, purposely buried under York Street........again for the Port.....
We seriously need help and imagination.....something completely different, uncorrupted by backhanders and the like.........otherwise we will be what is fast happening.............a has been....could have been..... sad backwater on the front line
where all roads lead out of.....
