  Difficult to imagine Lydden having a mining heritage, then again it's the same with today's Deal.

  The Coalfields Regeneration Trust have difficulty imagining Lydden having a mining heritage, but then again it never produced any coal!
  
  All that's left is the long building on the right and the houses, this is now a field of sheep.
