I just got the following off another forum it's not Dover I know but interesting all the same. Her words to explain,
"it's a 1920s film (no sound) going through the Westgate tower all the way up the High Street, before it was redesigned by Hitler. Quite a bit of the first part is the same, then above about Rose Lane and it's all completely different."

I have this on DVD I found in a junk shop for 10p it has many parts of Kent on it also the very first film ever made of the waves breaking on dover pier with the first ever moving camera its called Kent on film if any one would like a copy of this they are welcome there is no charge it also shows the switch back before the roller coaster at Folkestone and many more.
