Well it seems that planning applications simply do not matter. Just go ahead anyway. The application re erection of a two storey flat at back of this property has been removed and placed elsewhere. It was at the bottom of railings on steps to this property and is now right at the top out of sight almost. Anyone wishing to object to this planning is now unlikely to even see the application, which expires 1/11/19. I wonder who moved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To be fair any one of our drunks could have torn it down or it could even have blown away in the recent winds.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Hardly likely is it. If it had been blown away it wouldn't even be where it is now. There were no high winds at the time anyway. To be sure anyone could have removed it. The thing is this...it is the original form, now affixed with string. When DDC is involved nothing is fair. Wouldn't you want it to be where it should be if you wanted to object? Of course you would. Could you climb up those steep steps to read it? It is the council's responsibility to fix it where it is accessible to everyone and not just able bodied people.
