"More than 100 people marched to demand action against global warming."
That is not very many.

'More than 100'?
I made it just over sixty but what would I know as an ex--teacher of Mathematics compared to Sam Lennon (the reporter who asked me what colour the non-existent slaves I bought were!) who was counting on his fingers?

I can not but help to wonder how many of these school children feel passionately about the issue that gave them the opportunity to skip school. I know at that age I would have supported anything that allowed me to escape lessons and my school building on a nice sunny day.

Actually, for Mr Orpington's information, it's well-established that recycling dates back at least as far as the middle ages. There was no plastic then, of course, but pig intestine would have been used to make this simple pocket-friendly shopping bag.
And when it had served it's purpose, you could simply pop it in the cauldron with the turnips for the Sunday lunch.
