Today we hear that chief police officers gave authority for detectives to try to smear the name of the Lawrence family, who already had the tragic loss of there son 20 years ago.
Mrs Lawrence said today she thought everything had come out of previous enquires, but this latest revelation puts the police in a very bad light.

i can never understand why people do these cover ups, usually so many people involved it is inevitable that something would leak out at some stage in the future.
