- 31 March 2011 15:1299418Ah I see the problem there Howard...tables dont reproduce at all. Ive had similar difficulties with charts from..say the petrol tables.
But as I see it above if readers concentrate on the last figure to each members name they can see how often they attended, thats probably the easiest way of looking at it.
I will see if I can edit it a bit sharper.
Hopefully its a bit better now

last column represents the amount attended by the councillor
Although I cant quite fathom the Sue Jones figures as she is very much hands on.

the last figure(29) suggests to me that she turns up at meetings anyway, whether she is on the committee or not. - 31 March 2011 16:0599425The mayor heads the full council meeting at the end of each month,she has the vote on all committees if she so wish,s but she has a very full work load over the year but she is there when needed. A very good mayor.
- 31 March 2011 17:5499431A councillors attendance depends on how many committees you sit on, the Mayor may attend all committees should he or she wish but always chairs the full town council meeting as vic has said, but any councillor may attend a meeting but would not be allowed to vote if they did not belong on that particular committee.
- 31 March 2011 18:2999437thanks for info jan, my reading was that sue would not be on too many commitees because of possible future commitments but has still attended many meetings hence the strange figures in the first post.
- 31 March 2011 18:4099438The Mayor is expected to attend all Full Council meetings (8 a year) as the Chairman of the council. As Mayor they are not expected to sit on any other committees but can attend all. As you can see from the figures Sue does attend, other Mayoral commitments allowing, as many as she can.Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.
