I am at a loss, dear leader [leader, Pb-lead, get it? The less said about 'plum-bum' the better]
I am at a loss as to why it is necessary to goad the lookers-on in this way. Is there a tacit demand at the Tate, that all who visit should daub upon canvass?
There have been comments made here about the wider readership of this forum and the associated good work accomplished by those who comment here for the wider community of Dover and Kent, a jolly good thing.
[Admittedly, I may be mistaken in thinking that one must sign-up to read the forum, but this is the way I read the situation, way back when.]
When it is common for web sites to boast of hits, individual visits and membership numbers it is rather odd to instigate a cull in this way.
I must say that I am a little uncomfortable with the idea that those who may be interested in what is said here, but because of one thing or another hang back from joining in, are to be shunned and presumably 'invited' to resubmit their plea for membership at a later time.
Ta-rat-a-ta-ta-ra...'Th-th-th-that's all folks!'
