We went out today, first to Sandwich where there was a VE celebration event on the green down at the Quey.WW2 army displays with vehicles, stalls, lots of people about.Next stop was Deal, town was really busy and a food festival on the green by the castle.Very busy event with live music and lots going on.Next was Folkestone, harbour arm was packed out, music, food stalls, big screen, finally called back to Dover seafront,it was dead, nothing happening on the curve at all, couple of food stalls open, couldnt see anything else.Couldnt even walk round there until the bridge went down, let alone have a pee, great idea to put the bogs that side.
