  As my wife has gone back to work for a while (she needs to keep me in beer money) and has reported a couple of near misses while driving, I've fitted a car cam.
  
  After clearing up on Sunday we were driving down Maison Dieu Road when I was "cut up" by a pair of, I assume, boy racers doing well over 60.
  
  Here's a still from the video. I've obliterated the number plate for fear of reprisals.

  the lights next to the vets remind me of the start of a formula one race, the revving of engines followed by manic attempts to get ahead of the others.
  
  terrifying for users of the health centre that think they have enough time to cross the road and then the pelican crossing near the magistrates court comes too soon for some to slow down.
