Not long now till the new year, that is.
In a none too rare moment of weakness I took myself off back 100 pages or so to the beginning of 2011 here on the forum. [No. I am not entirely sure why either.]
It all began in true Dovorian fashion with worries of Mayan predictions of doom, councillor Collor and 'that' kiss, pot-holes and, of course, toilets...wait, wait?! What was that? Mayan predictions of DOOM?
Mmmmm, do we believe in coincidences?
-Barry's call for an immediate rise in interest rates of between 1/4 to 3/4 %...
-rock-fall at St. Margaret's Bay...
-a burning (of effigies) at the stake, up at the castle...
I could take no more. This exercise, this Litmus-test of past public opining, is better left to...who else, but Paul or howard. (Ph, get it?)

Yes, Howard. Perhaps a short piece on, say, Dixon's Delights?
