  I as much as others have been praised and criticised by the paper but as a community paper I cannot fault it. Thanks to the continuing coverage of the Christmas eve party at Age Concern, the centre has become possibly the most vibrant and wonderful place to be. Karen has received the most wonderful response for volunteers,gifts and entertainers and also new members and volunteers to help not just at Christmas but on a permanent basis.
  To be part of the centre is a total joy, not just for me but for all those who attend and give of their time and I mustn't forget those who give of their time at The Age Concern shop, without whose help the centre would be a poorer place.
