  Alexander, I fail to see your logic. I understand the public transport bit but how is the electricity produced without producing pollution of some kind while being made.
  
  Electric cars are being fitted with added noise so the blind can hear them, there was a item on TV the other day about them. By the way what noise does pollution make, none that I know of.
  
  People might spend less on petrol but public transport is not exactly cheap so very little or no benefit there.
