i can't think that will happen heike we have gone past the stage of worrying about "offending muslims".
besides christmas decorations, trees and santa have no religious connections whatsoever.

well that has been said and stated as a reason...
Maybe its just a money saving thing but with a high risk of upsetting the customers. They will not make much profit if it is the case.

i always find the santa claus bit somewhat odd heike, parents encourage their children to lure a strange bloke into their rooms late at night with the offer of food and drink.

true well thats a american thing. In Germany He comes secretly (depends on region) they actually dont see him.
I did remember one occasion we had to queue and he asked you to come up with a poem or a song. All I could think of was that rude x mas song about father christmas smacking a naughty childs bum. LOL He made me sing it ... didnt go down very well ... ( I still got a bar of chocolate and an orange out of it :D )
