  I really don't understand how some golf clubs still get away with it Royal St Georges in Sandwich altered their rules last year in order to host the Open but why are these committees so scared of women?

  Hopefully brings Open back to St Georges sooner & gives East Kent economy another boost. Financial spin off economic benefits range from £80m-£120m at last count.

  Hotels and guest houses made a killing Paul but other traders didn't as once a ticket holder entered the course they couldn't leave to get lunch or do shopping in Sandwich.
  
  The catering on course was done by a company up in Scotland and the prices were outrageous by all accounts.
