    feel for you....what a day,Our christmas started on the eve,wife telephoned to say that she would be late finishing as 2 residents rushed to hospital and could we visit them on way home also that 2 staff off sick so she would have to work nights christmas day so could not attend large family dinner at the hotel.I couldn't leave her by herself on Christmas Day so sent kids to hotel and cooked a lunch for us both ,slow roasted belly pork,sorry veggies.I took her to work at 7pm and spent a quiet night listening to the radio til kids got home at 1 am.Just collected wife from work now they are all asleep.Going to have a sherry and bugger the Doctors orders.
