Don't plan a train journey from Dover Priory next weekend, there are none in any direction - buses to Deal, Folkestone and Canterbury.

You don't get many season ticket holders travelling at weekends. That's one of the reasons they do major works then.

That is a very low bridge but there are warning signs at each end of that bit of road as well as on the bridge itself. Clearly the lorry driver didn't know or didn't care how high his lorry was!

Thanet Waste say it wasn't one of theirs but one they had sold off and the new owner had not changed the livery. Maybe they had not read the notice facing the driver notifying him/her of the height of the vehicle?

You could have got a train from Desl.
There were a couple of big cranes + sections of tracks in the station car park this morning plus a freight train there.in platform 3.
