The bin men spilt vegetable peelings and tea bags from next doors food waste caddy across our path this morning and just left it. Rats anyone?

Ring the relevant department and complain, the refuse collectors are contracted and will have to work to a set standard at least I hope they will.

You can indeed contact waste services at DDC (waste@dover.gov.uk) and let them know. If there is a problem with the waste collection service or the personnel who collect it, they need to know.

Here in south Harborough the council were pioneers with us all issued with food waste bins several years ago. Then last year the system changed again and at just about the same time that you all got food waste bins we were instructed to put our food waste in the "black bin" again. We were allowed to keep the food waste bins as a momento. Apparently the food waste will be seperated out at the processing centre, which seems unlikely......
