Bern you make a valid point but in all honesty how often do you really go to the theatre or do leisure things? Maybe once or twice a week? Im on a rant here as I feel very strongly about this matter. I use the leisure centre almost EVERY day and already pay for the privilege of doing so. If there were other alternatives in Dover fair enough but there is no other leisure centre like that. I have an extremely busy life and not going by car would hinder that. You mention public transport but again that involves more costs and time, not always reliable either. The charges are going to happen an no doubt next year the leisure centre and car park charges will go up again.....it's a vicious circle. Buying a kid a play station would be a lot less hassle and cost effective in the long run (ok rant over now promise!)
