  I usually post this time every year about people letting their dogs loose in the river and I'm doing so this year.
  
  It's got worse, dogs constantly being allowed and encouraged by their owners to chase water fowl in the river along Barton Path.
  This is the first year ever there has been no chicks at all of any description, I know ducks and moorhens have tried nesting as I've seen the nests.
  
  I don't suppose it will ever stop.
  
  While I'm on the subject, I was reading the River Parish magazine last week and inside it reports that several people have been fined for illegal fishing.
  The question begs. why was this not put into the papers with names, and why only in river and not down this area?
