    Is the breaking up of these Nimrods due to extreme short-sightedness of the Conservative Government, or a realisation that Labour had wasted far too much money that we could ill afford, on a pointless set of aircraft ?

    I couldn't believe what I was reading when I first read in it the Telegraph.
