  Paperwork from the NHS is totally over the top and there is plenty of scope for cutting back but bogus patients and I mean time wasting attention seekers rather than genuine hypochondriacs are a great drain. A neighbour of mine years ago had her own seat at the local surgery always demanding to be the first to be seen and regularly called ambulances out for no reason.
  
  The classic one was when she called one and when it arrived asked them to wait while she went for a bath!! Eventually her surgery wrote to her to say that as they were unable to be much help to her they requested she moved onto another GP's list.
