Ok this bloke shouldn't have used social media for his frustrations but I have known so many people that block up A & E departments and have even called ambulances for the most trivial things.

The Doctor is a bit of a fool but I agree with him that people should be charged to access A&E. It would immediately get rid of the time wasters and free up much needed resources elsewhere. I'd consider the same principle for accessing GP surgeries too.

This was his way of getting his frustrations of the day out of his system, a shame he went a little to far.
Re timewasting, for some reason a few years ago I received a survey about my GP's practice through the post which I completed.
Last year another arrived which I ignored not having visited the surgery for months, I received another two reminders also ignored, the same has happened this year.
I can't help but wonder how much this costs the supposedly skint NHS if this happens to others all over the country.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Paperwork from the NHS is totally over the top and there is plenty of scope for cutting back but bogus patients and I mean time wasting attention seekers rather than genuine hypochondriacs are a great drain. A neighbour of mine years ago had her own seat at the local surgery always demanding to be the first to be seen and regularly called ambulances out for no reason.
The classic one was when she called one and when it arrived asked them to wait while she went for a bath!! Eventually her surgery wrote to her to say that as they were unable to be much help to her they requested she moved onto another GP's list.
