  This has been a statutory requirement for years and SHOULD have been perused by ALL Health Care Trusts. Here's and example of policy from Lewisham Hospital.
  
  

  

  
  
  The problem is that the Health Unions apparently 'don't want Doctors to act as Immigration Officers' just as the Teacher's Unions are also happy for the offspring of illegal immigrants to be educated and council's happy to house their families as they too 'don't want to act as Immigration Officers'.
