Top heavy highly paid management can't help the finances.

But, Brian, surely you know we are still in recovery from the deepest and most damaging recession since the 1930s? There are far more important priorities to be dealt with first:
"...Barclays said it had increased the total amount it paid on staff bonuses last year. The bank's total bonus pool for 2013 rose by 10% to £2.38bn, from £2.17bn in 2012". (BBC news)
"Premier League clubs scored record revenues of £3.2bn last season as wages topped £2.2bn, according to the latest analysis of football finances.". (Sky News reporting on Deloitte Touche Report 2013)

Mark was being ironic in the Daz style Brian.
The cobbled together people now want GP surgeries to open 7 days a week despite offering any extra money.

Because it is a net figure Jan, it will mean that it (the £55 million) is after we get anything back (money-wise) from the EU.
I know Brian will offer a multitude of things, but apart from not killing ourselves in a (hypothetical) war, I'm not sure what we have out of being members of the EU.
We're net importers from the EU countries, so they won't want to stop that.

This explains my earlier comment this was posted on Facebook by BBC South East Today
"Today at 1330 - Shock as an NHS boss takes home almost two hundred thousand a year for no more than 2 days' work a week."

That must be so demoralising to those on low wages but working hard in the N.H.S.

getting back on topic.the black hole is due to government cut backs and profitering.and nothing to do with the eu as some people are suggesting.
