Ah...well now , was there a grand plan afoot?. The NHS was heavily featured in the Olympic Opening Ceremony, and Mr Cameron followed up our hugely expensive Olympian extravaganza by saying that the expense of it all will be recouped through various business deals around the world. So...Did he have the NHS in mind?
The idea seems quite radical and on the face of it a good one, selling NHS expertise around the world, but Andy Burnham of Labour claims the idea was his own. No matter who thought of it first though, if the NHS could treat people around the world for profit then it could aleviate some of the financial stresses placed on it here, as the indigenious can hardly afford to keep it going any more.
But long may it live. How we keep it alive is open to interpretation.
