If only there was a free-sheet or similar. Somewhere with a firm focus on all things Dover and where the Dover take on all things local, national and international could be expressed and discussed?
It's a wonder in this day and age, what with the inter-web etc., that some enterprising yet locally focused soul has not met the challenge with...a forum even.
The circle could be squared if the DE contact e-mail address was more generic, with a Dover tag. So that all the journalists could access it for a heads-up on the many things going on in the town. Nobody should be left with the easy way out of retorting that they were not informed though, so there is still a bit of onus upon the organisers, but over and above all of that why is there no calendar at the paper to point-up the recurring events?
