  we live in a market economy where people can pay their money on the daily sport or coin collectors monthly.
  
  the tabloids rarely shape views, they merely reflect what they know the reader wants them to say.
  
  the mail is the only tabloid that i ever look at, and i can predict what their viewpoints will be on the vast majority of subjects.
  should someone want to form their own view on an issue they will take a serious newspaper that gives an honest, in depth appraisal of what is going on in the world.
