  Thoroughly enjoyed it, Howard. Particularly the public meetings. The advantage I had was that my father ,grandfather & most of the male members of those generations were coalminers. They have an individual humour & culture which you needed to understand. Being chased down a cul-de-sac by an axeman was also an interesting experience[not one to be repeated].
