  Let's hope they spend some money on actuallly cleaning the area too! The rubbish and mess all over the entrance to the museum and library is hardly conducive to the image of Dover as a tourist attraction. Noticed on Saturday that there is litter all over the historic ruin in the entrance to the library. The pavements and steps need to be cleaned with a pressure hose (before the hose pipe ban comes in!) and then kept clean as part of a regular maintenance regime. The first part of the "tourism strategy" has to be to make Dover look clean and presentable. In my opinion, the whole place was kept much cleaner when it was the White Cliffs Experience, which of course, should never have been closed!
