If they can provide the service for this month at £10 why not all the time?
£29.95 is a lot of money for those without their own transport, no wonder people just stick things on the pavement.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

I think the £.10 bit is just to promote the scheme, probably a loss leader although I agree 30 quid is a bit steep.

A good few in my area wouldnt even pay a tenner, rather just quitely walk it down the road and just dump it on the pavement leaving it for someone else to deal with it.I have in the past reported rubbish dumped at the top of the street and a week later its still there. Its often just a waste of time ringing the council.

E Mail customer services at DDC Andy and ask them to pass the details to Waste services. You will get an acknowledgement by return and going by my experience it will be removed the next day or latest the day after.
Having problems this week with the offices closed over the long weekend and Easter being a good time for the dregs of our society to have a clear out, other than that excellent service.

On some occassions i have taken the rubbish to the tip myself, just recently someone dumped the remains of a greenhouse on the hill with a big box of broken glass,i reported it and requested it was moved quickly as it was a hazard with kids playing in the street.A week later it was still there so as i was going to the tip i broke it up and took it there myself.I had reported it twice that week.

At one time just a photo on the forum was enough to get rubbish removed, I put this one on late on a Saturday morning in 2011 and was collected by late afternoon. It later came out that 3 councillors had done a tour of the ward 3 days earlier and had reported it to Waste services.
