The Gateway is souless..isolated...gated.......no community...the French style of placing commercial bussle...........i.e. shops, restaurants....etc..on the ground floor of their flats, creates it own community..........these are designed like the Eastern European Communist blocks...so no wonder they feel so at home here....
The seats show a bit of flair, fun....design ...a place for people to sit..!!after the trug past the rubble/misery of the dual carriagewayTownwall Street... etc. etc.....
I do not need to say much more.......in the 25 years it has been left, a fantastic park etc...could be there now...
I am all for a all year round Tivoli Park...like on the Continent..remember we are Europeans
