  #299 and further to #300, David, I'm not surprised Charlie unfriended you after some of the disrespectful posts you put on his facebook page. If you want to campaign from your bunker, by all means impugn your opponents' motives and attack their record. If you want an open, dignified, 'may-the-best-man-win' campaign, just tell everyone how you respect the incumbent, but how you would have done it better, and how you would go forward. I know it's difficult from a standing start but sniping makes candidates look small and loses votes, dignity and manners are still worth a lot.
  
  Your beef with the Tories is about DDC, not an MP who has actually done a blinding job.
