    DfT 23rd May 2012:

    "In relation to the Dover People's Port Trust (DPPT), this body is being treated in a similar manner to other bodies and organisations that have made representations on the proposed sale of the Port of Dover."

    Therefore, DPPT do not have any on-going position with the DfT regards the Port of Dover, and the Decision Minister's letter is most final.

    Any statements from DPPT claiming the opposite are in contradiction to official Department for Transport clarifications.
