It is reported in Lloyd's List that DFDS and Louis Dreyfus (company behind LD Lines) have made a joint bid for Seafrance. Could be more interesting times on the Channel. With the Roundhill Tunnel fiasco, we'd all better hope that the French don't take a dislike to the deal and go on strike......

doesn't sound like good news for sea france staff if a rival like dfds wish to hold a stake.
there isn't that much trade to warrant keeping the sea france schedule going.
