    Sorry but I agree with Reginald and Howard on this.

    Regarding the mayor supporting the elderly so do all the volunteers at Riverside and the Age Concern shop, without that shop the Riverside Centre could/would be in financial trouble. I do not remember ever hearing his name mentioned when I was a volunteer unlike Sue Nicholas who was often talked about along with a couple of other people on the committee.

    As for Ken's publicity comment negative publicity might raise the profile but I would prefer not to have Dover highlighted in the media for possibly having a drug taking mayor regardless of when the supposed incident happened. Not once did I hear or read about the historical side or anything else that is good about Dover

    The only good thing I can think of regarding the mayor is that he obviously has very loyal friends.
