    Re post 15. yes The Mayor is in a position to do those things .he or she has contacts to get these things done .I know manny Councillors who are used to rolling up their sleeves.A Mayor is not just there for dressing up .If post 15 Had pride in Dover he would lobby the Mayor to do something about the problems I described.
    I do hope you will get a chance to see the film aTown on the Edge. Yes Chris was very hard working and his diary was always full.i think the current Mayor wouldn't do well to appreciate this .
