  Hardly a major step, they always crossed the 't's but never dotted the 'i's.
  
  Not that it is any of my business, but (isn't there ever a 'but'?) with the new design the Invicta horse motif looks incidental...could this be because you have that 'spledid' example coming soon to adorn the hillside?

  I agree 100% with Gordon Cowan's comment. And how much old stationery/ business cards/ official forms etc will now be junked? And then the signs on KCC buildings will have to be redone in due course. £2080 total cost? Someone is being economical with the truth here.

  i remember some time back kent county constabulary changed their name to kent police so that people didn't confuse them with kent county council.
