  He has been asked by the UN Secretary General to be chairman of a UN committee to create a new set of millennium development goals.
  
  This is quite an opportunity for him on the international stage and a chance to set some free trade, pro-market policies that will be a breathe of fresh air.

  Cameron will probably see this as a licence to go around with our common cheque book, linked to the Treasury UK.com, and rip off cheques to all and sundry around the world "solving the whole world's problems".
